What better way to celebrate the weekend, than with an evening of delicious food and wine at River Cottage HQ?

 

Saturday Nights at River Cottage involve a delicious, five course set menu, prepared by the River Cottage chefs.  The menu always showcases the best local, seasonal ingredients and the team will talk you through all the dishes before you sit down to enjoy them.

 

In addition, we carefully select some of the finest, organic local wines to accompany your meal, and a bar is also available.

 

Dorset and Devon have many very talented musicians, and there will be live music from one of our favourite local bands while you enjoy coffee and petits four. The evening draws to a close at about 11.30pm.

Typical Late Spring, Saturday Night Menu Asparagus, River Cottage air-dried ham, and soft-boiled egg Slow-cooked cuttlefish with its ink, lemon and fennel tops, flatbreads Roast, organic Sasso chicken with honey, pearl barley and cinnamon, organic green salad Denhay cheddar, Dorset Blue Vinny and River Cottage curd cheese, with biscuits and quince jelly Vanilla pannacotta with rhubarb compote and rhubarb sorbet Coffee, Petits fours

 

Time: 7.30 to 11.30pm

Wine/drink: We are a licensed venue. We also have a Bring Your Own policy and we do not charge corkage. We have a wide selection of the finest organic wines. We will be serving organic cordial and iced water from our own well.

Age: The minimum age on this event is 10yrs of age. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. We put these guidelines for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all our guests
