Hugh on Meat

Hugh on Meat

Sorry, this event is currently sold out. If you wish to be kept informed of the availability of this event or when this or similar events will be running please click here to send us your contact details.

Hugh's aim when writing the The River Cottage Meat Book was to encourage people to think about the meat they eat. Is it good enough? What about the animals: have they lived well? And what about the way it's cooked: are people thrifty, and do they do it justice?

Come and join Hugh at River Cottage HQ, where he will share his 'Meat Manifesto' and demonstrate recipes from The River Cottage Meat Book. You'll be able to ask any questions about meat, or about growing and raising your own produce, and what will be happening at the River Cottage HQ in the coming months.

You will also enjoy a four course feast, featuring recipes from the book, prepared by HQ Head Chef Gill Meller and the River Cottage Team.

This event is demonstration based. Practical participation is not required, although volunteers are encouraged to take part in the demonstrations, at some point during the day.
