We first introduced Dad's booze box as a special fathers day gift idea this year, but it's proved to be so popular that we've kept it on! As a dad I can vouch that Dad would love to receive the booze box, but I'd imagine so would anyone, so why not treat a special friend?

We’ve put together a small selection from our Beer, Wine and Cider club to give Dad a taste of our fantastic range.

The box contains :-

Sherborne Brut
Sparkling wine is a new addition to the Sherborne Castle range and we think they've done exceptionally well to produce a Dorset bubbly fit to rival champagne.

Pennard Plum Fruit Wine
A local variety of cherry plums gives this wine a rich and spicy balance. A great party wine! (As this is a seasonal wine we may have to substitute this for another Pennard fruit wine)

Kingston Black Apple Aperitif
The outstanding vintage qualities of the rare Kingston Black apple, have for generations, made it in a legend in the orchards of the West Country. We believe that the subtle flavours of this unique blend of apples, spirit and tradition makes it a superb aperitif. Kingston Black can also be served ice cold as a dessert wine.

2 bottles of Burrow Hill Sparkling Cider (50cl)
A blend of at least 11 varieties of vintage apples "the cider makers craft at it's best":

Cotleigh Tawny Owl
A West Country Classic, well balanced light copper coloured bitter using local malt and English whole hops

Cotleigh Golden Seahawk
A bright Golden Coloured best bitter. Smooth and malty with a background of honey flavour offering refreshing and citrus finish

2 bottles of our very own Stinger Beer
Hugh describes Stinger as “slightly spicy with a light bitterness and a subtle tingle that comes from the nettles. Equally good with summer barbecues and winter roasts, or while sitting on a hay bale, watching the sun go down....”
